Friendly Neighborhood Setting
The Hume Home is a community of 34 residents who form close personal relationships with each other and staff. Each person makes their private room a reflection of themselves. Shared half-baths are adjacent to each room. Friends and relatives are always welcome and are an important part of our lives. We offer a family-type atmosphere of charm and warmth. Residents are free to leave for visits and vacations, or just stroll around the spacious ground and lovely surrounding neighborhood.
24 Hour a Day Care
The Hume Home of Muskegon provides 24-hour-a-day care by trained and compassionate personnel. Our goal is to assist residents in maintaining or improving their current level of physical and mental function through activity, exercise, conversation, reading, stimulating games, proper nutrition, and a well-managed medication schedule. Our residents live in a secure home environment where they can enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and take advantage of everything that The Hume Home has to offer.

Planned Activities
Social opportunities and planned activities are offered nearly everyday at The Hume Home of Muskegon. We encourage socialization and interaction to make each day a pleasant one. For those with limited mobility, the intimate setting and specialized programming will help them maximize their independence and quality of life. Our professional staff will be happy to answer all of your questions as you consider assisted living as an option for yourself or a loved one.

Providing Support for Families
As part of the Baruch family of assisted living communities, it is our mission to provide a home for our residents who have outlived their financial resources. This allows seniors and their families a sense of peace knowing that they do not need to leave their home due to funds. It is because of the support of others that we are able to continue to provide a home for many.
